Concerns and complaints

Something not quite right? Please contact us to talk about any concerns or complaints. We value your input and opinions.

Often issues can be cleared up right away. Our team will do their best to fix the problem on the spot or put you in touch with someone who can. Either complete the above form or give us a call on 0800 751 851.

You’ll hear back from us within five working days of receiving your complaint to confirm we’re looking into the issue. Then we’ll keep you updated with progress. Once we have all the information we need, we’ll aim to give you an answer within 10 working days.

If a solution can’t be found or you are unsatisfied with the outcome, You can refer your complaint to Financial Services Complaints Ltd (FSCL) – a financial ombudsman service. FSCL is our independent external ombudsman and dispute resolution service that has been approved by the Minister of Consumer Affairs under the Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008. FSCL’s service is free of charge to you.

Unforeseen hardship

At Auto Finance Direct, we care about you and your financial situation. If you’re experiencing unforeseen circumstances or repayment difficulties, we know this can impact your ability to continue regular payments. We are here to help.

If you need financial assistance, you may be eligible to apply for financial hardship assistance. While all applications are subject to approval, and at times we may require supporting information (such as proof of income and evidence of your unforeseen hardship), it’s our aim to make this process as quick, easy and stress-free as possible for you.
